Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of www.dentaltechhub.com and any site, platform, mobile application, or service that links to them (the "Site"). They include our AI provisions (Section 4) and our Copyright / DMCA procedure (Section 9). Our Privacy Policy — which also describes our use of cookies — governs how we handle personal information. DentalTechHub Inc. ("DentalTechHub," "we," "us," "our") may update these Terms from time to time.

1. Use of this Site

By using the Site you represent that your information is accurate, you will safeguard your account, you are at least 18, and you will use the Site only for legitimate business or professional purposes. You will not submit protected health information (PHI) or patient-identifiable data; DentalTechHub is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate.

2. Nature of the Site; vendor listings

DentalTechHub is an informational, editorial directory. We do not sell the listed products or services. Any demo, trial, purchase, contract, implementation, onboarding, support, or other dealing between you and a vendor — including demo bookings facilitated through the Site — is solely between you and that vendor; we are not a party to and not responsible for it, and you release DentalTechHub from any dispute arising from your dealings with a vendor. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any statutory provision that would otherwise limit this release to claims you currently know about (such as California Civil Code § 1542). Inclusion is not an endorsement.

3. Editorial independence

DentalTechHub independently classifies vendors using public information and editorial judgment. A vendor cannot pay to be classified differently, to receive a more favorable description, or to rank higher in our editorial results, and our classifications are never influenced by payment. These Terms govern your use of the Site as a visitor or registered user.

4. AI features (Mola)

DentalTechHub offers an AI advisor, Mola, and other AI-enabled features (the "AI Features"). Mola helps you discover, compare, and shortlist dental technology vendors based on information you provide, using third-party model providers — currently Anthropic (Claude) and potentially OpenAI — accessed through their commercial APIs. We may change providers or models over time.

Informational only; not professional advice. AI output is general and informational. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, clinical, or other professional advice, and creates no advisory relationship. Independently verify information and consult qualified professionals before relying on it or making a purchase. The AI Features do not make any legally significant decision about you.

Limitations. AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or fabricated ("hallucinated") output and may misstate facts about vendors, products, or pricing. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of suitability or fit.

Editorial independence. Mola's recommendations come from our independent editorial classification. A vendor cannot pay to be classified differently or to rank higher, and our classifications are never influenced by payment.

Your inputs and acceptable use. Do not submit PHI or patient-identifiable data, sensitive personal information, third-party confidential information, or others' personal data without authority. Do not use the AI Features to build or train competing products/models, scrape outputs, reverse engineer, or inject malicious prompts. How your inputs are processed is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account through account settings or by contacting us; account deletion is also available within our mobile application. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

6. Vendor listing updates, removal & vendor content

Vendors or authorized representatives may request a correction or removal by emailing [email protected] from their official company domain. We correct genuine factual inaccuracies, but as an independent editorial directory we reserve the right to retain factual, publicly available listings and our classifications; removal is at our discretion. When a vendor submits or confirms content (including by claiming a profile), the vendor grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content, represents it has the right to do so and that it is accurate, and remains responsible for its accuracy; we may edit for length/format or decline it.

7. Content, ownership, and license

Site content is owned by DentalTechHub or its licensors. Third-party logos and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify vendors. You receive a limited, revocable license for internal business use; you may not scrape, resell, or build competing directories from Site content.

8. Prohibited automated access & data extraction

You may not scrape, harvest, cache, or systematically extract content; bypass security; reproduce the look-and-feel; or use Site data to build, train, or improve any competing directory, database, or AI model.

9. Copyright / DMCA

We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512). This procedure covers DentalTechHub, dentaltechhub.com, www.dentaltechhub.com, search.dentaltechhub.com, and Mola. Before you file: logos, marks, and factual descriptions are used to identify vendors based on public information (nominative fair use); for a factual correction or listing removal that isn't a copyright complaint, use Section 6 instead.

To file a complaint, include:

• The copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The allegedly infringing material and its exact URL(s) on the Site.
• Your contact information (name, mailing address, phone, email).
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Designated Copyright Agent — registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, Reg. No. DMCA-1073637. Send notices and counter-notices to:

Counter-notification & repeat infringers. If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. To be effective, a counter-notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, mailing address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, the federal district court for the District of Massachusetts), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

We may restore removed material in 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the complaining party files a court action seeking to restrain the activity. We disable or terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing, or was wrongly removed, may incur liability.

10. Disclaimers

The Site, listings, and AI output are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings, classifications, or AI output are accurate, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DentalTechHub's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site shall not exceed USD $100, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, which then apply to the fullest extent permitted. This cap does not limit your indemnification obligations.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DentalTechHub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law & disputes

Governed by Massachusetts law; disputes brought exclusively in Massachusetts state or federal courts. Before filing, you agree to contact [email protected] and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Claims must be brought within one (1) year, except where law requires longer.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (for example, by posting on the Site or emailing registered users). Changes are effective when posted unless we state otherwise. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Site.

15. General

Entire agreement; survival of disclaimer, liability, indemnification, IP, and governing-law sections; severability; no waiver; no assignment without consent; no third-party beneficiaries. The mobile app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application EULA and App Store Terms. Feedback you send may be used freely. We may modify or discontinue the Site. Force majeure applies. You consent to electronic communications. The English version controls.
