Insurance Answers Plus (IAPlus) is a subscription dental insurance benefits database from Dental Systems Inc., whose US-based research team tracks more than 75,000 employer, government, Affordable Care Act and individual private dental plans and publishes over 100 procedure-level benefit answers per plan with daily updates. Front-office staff look up a patient's employer in IAPlusOnline and read that plan's coverage, frequencies, waiting periods and limitations without calling the carrier, and a real-time patient eligibility check is included at no extra charge. Service is limited to practices in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Louisiana, and Dental Systems separately sells hourly remote front-office and claims-follow-up help.
